Welcome to Violet & Flour! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, www.violetandflour.com ("Site"), and any orders or services made through it. By accessing this Site and submitting an order form, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Business Overview

Violet & Flour is a cottage bakery providing custom cakes, cupcakes, cookies, cookie cakes, tres leches, and other baked goods. Customers may browse our portfolio and submit order forms directly through the website. We do not offer account creation, but users may subscribe to our email newsletter for marketing and promotional updates.

2. Ordering and Payment Terms

2.1 Order Deposits

All custom orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit to be paid at the time of order submission.
Deposits must be sent via Venmo to @victoria-rendeiro.
The remaining balance is due no later than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup or delivery.
Failure to pay the remaining balance by this deadline may result in cancellation of your order, with no refund of your initial deposit.

2.2 Late Order Fees

Orders placed with less than 7 days’ notice may be subject to a minimum $25 late fee.
The final late fee will depend on the complexity of the order and how short the notice is.

2.3 Delivery Fees

Delivery is available and starts at a minimum fee of $25.
The delivery fee may increase based on distance, order size, or complexity.
You will be informed of the final delivery fee when your order is confirmed.

3. Personal Information & Privacy

We collect personal information only as necessary to fulfill your order or to provide you with marketing communications. This may include your name, phone number, email address, and delivery address. All information is handled in accordance with our [Privacy Policy] (coming soon), and we do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.

By submitting your information, you consent to us using it for:

Contacting you about your order
Sending marketing emails (if you opted in)

4. Cancellations & Refunds

All deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.
If you cancel your order after paying the full amount, partial refunds (minus the deposit) may be considered only at our discretion and depending on how close the cancellation is to the delivery/pickup date.
No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 48 hours of the delivery/pickup date.

5. Product Disclaimer

Our desserts are made in a home kitchen that may process common allergens, including, but not limited to: wheat, eggs, dairy, nuts, and soy. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after any changes means you accept the new Terms.
